| Before he signed up for
the post-diplomma studies in England, Mihajlo came home
to his Idvor. For the first time in 11 years he finally
met with his mother and sisters, and went to see his
fathers grave.

University of Cambridge |
He spent
2 months in Idvor, preparing himself for the difficulties
which he was to find on one of the prestigeous world's
universities.
Here he spent 18 months studying mathematics on King`s
colledge, even though he really wanted to study physics
so he could know more about the new Maxwell's theory
of electromagnetic field.

Michael Pharaddey
|
Thanks to his mentor Niven,
Pupin soon achieve the requiste level in a honorary mathematical
group, and stayed there to the end of his studies. In
the same time he became familiar with a Maxwell's scientific
work over his books “Theory of heat” and “Mathery and
motion”. Beside that, Pupin read the books of Pharaddey
and Newton who was not just a founder of Cambridge university,
but also the whole modern Physic.
|
At the end of the semestar Mihajlo went to France, in
Pornique, where he learned the language preparing for
his visit to Paris. He arrived in this city of light on
July 14th 1884, on the greatest national holliday - celebration
of the Bastilla fall.
|
| He also visited the Great
sorbon and French colledge in the Quartier Latin. While
walking, he found the book of Lagrange in one antique
shop. He was French Newton, and this work "Analitical
mechanics" thrilled Pupin. This capital book of all
students of the dynamics Mihajlo will read on French in
his Idvor, where he rerturned to see his loved ones.
